PURPOSE:To prevent the disconnection of a line at the time of switching to a telephone set part side after the finish of facsimile communication by charging the capacity component of a power supply circuit through a connecting means by a charging current supplying means installed at a facsimile part. CONSTITUTION:During the facsimile communication, a CML 3 is being switched to a facsimile part 1 side, and the facsimile part 1 is connected to a telephone line 4 through a transformer 5. During the facsimile communication, a telephone set part 2 side is in a state not to be supplied with DC power supply, but since a change-over switch 6 is being switched to the facsimile part 1 side, a charging current is supplied by the charging current supply circuit 7, and the capacity component of the power supply circuit is charged. Accordingly, since DC closing is performed without time delay when the telephone set part 2 is connected to the line 4 after the finish of the facsimile communication, an exchange side never disconnects the line, and communication can be performed continuously.
