Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To provide a surface-shaped heat emitting body with self temp. adjusting function and overheating preventive function and with ample strength and flexibility and enable suppression of variation in the electric resistance by allowing a heat emitting layer to contain PTC particles, in which carboxyl radicals are coupled together through multi-value metal, and conductive elastomer arranged at the periphery thereof. CONSTITUTION:In a surface-shaped heat emitting body 10 electroconductive particles are dispersed in a heat emitting layer 11 to crystalline high-polymer compared whose temp. coefficient of electrical resistance is positive and which has carboxyl radicals in the side chins. This includes PTC particles 11A consisting of PTC compounds, in which carboxyl radicals are bonded together by multi-value metal, and electroconductive elastomer 11B arranged around the PTC particles 11A. This allows provision of the self temp. adjusting function and overheat preventive function without additional provision of temp. adjusting member such as bi-metal. This further contributes to securement of flexibility, enables installing in a place with small radius of curvature, reduces the space for accommodation, and suppresses change in the electric resistance in iterative sevrices.
