PURPOSE:To switch a dual system virtually without any interruption by exchanging dual processing tasks only by changing positions in an execution task number definition table. CONSTITUTION:When a switching request is generated, an acceptance processing part 3 refers to a representative task number definition table 4 to check the operation sequence numbers of requested representative tasks. A processing personal collation processing part 6 compares the contents of the processing personnel storage tables 5 of computers 1 and 2 with each other and sets '1' at a corresponding position in an operation sequence table 7 when there is coincident dual processing request. The collation processing part 6, on the other hand, replaces the current execution task number at the corresponding position in the execution task number definition table 8 with the last execution task number when there is a coincident switching request between the computers 1 and 2.
