PURPOSE:To perform the loading of a work prior to working and the unloading of the work after working in an extremely short time by the combination of the rotation of a chuck device and the linear movement of a base. CONSTITUTION:Due to a chuck device 46 being rotated around the rotary axial lien parallel to the longitudinal direction of an arm 44 and equipped with two chucks 48 provided axial-symmetrically for the rotary axial line, and these two chucks 48 can be positioned selectively at specified positions by the rotation around the rotary axial line. Accordingly, if this specified position is taken as the position opposed coaxially to the chuck 16 of a machine tool 10 for instance, the two chucks 48 are selectively made in the state of opposing coaxially to the chuck 16 of the machine tool only by rotating a chuck device 46 simply without revolving a revolving base 42 and the arm 44. The work of after working is removed from the machine tool by the reciprocating movement of the base 40 in the state of opposing one part of the chucks coaxially to the chuck of the machine tool.
