PURPOSE:To increase the quantity of disposal, prevent public nuisance like polluted water and odor, and improve the ease of control in a structure for reclamation and disposal of household wastes by enclosing periphery with continuous underground walls reaching down to impermeable layers, and constructing a water-barrier work at the bottom to form a cylindrical underground space. CONSTITUTION:A cylindrical underground space 6 is formed with continuous underground walls 2 reaching down to impermeable layers 1 and a water-barrier work 3 at the bottom, and its top face is covered with a crust-shaped roof 4. In addition, pumping/degassing pipes 7 for seepage water with degassing function, an underground water pumping pipe 8 and a garbage crane 9 are installed. The constitution enlarges the quantity of disposal for an areal expanse of a site, and prevents public nuisance like odor and polluted water, and lessens the time and labor required for maintenance and control.
