Zusammenfassung:	To provide an internal combustion engine that facilitates uniform dispersion of fuel.SOLUTION: An internal combustion engine includes: a cylinder space having an exhaust side and an intake side and surrounded by a cylinder head, a piston and a cylinder; a fuel injection valve for injecting fuel into the cylinder space; a cavity formed on a top surface of the piston; and tumble flow generating means for generating a tumble flow along the cavity.
