Zusammenfassung:To allow a user to easily perform desired focus operation.SOLUTION: An electronic device performs control so as to display a guide showing a current focus position within a focus range from a first end in a close-range side to a second end in an infinity side on the basis of operation member information regarding an operation member for focus operation. The guide has a focus range section that is long in a predetermined direction while a position of the one end in the predetermined direction corresponds to the first end and a position of the other end in the predetermined direction corresponds to the second end. The length of the focus range section corresponds to the length of an operation range as a range of the amount of operation of the focus operation that a user can perform for the operation member. A position of the first end in the focus range section and a position of the second end are those corresponding to a relationship between an operation direction of the focus operation for the operation member and a change direction of a focus position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】ユーザーが所望のフォーカス操作を容易に行うことができるようにする。【解決手段】本発明の電子機器は、フォーカス操作のための操作部材に関する操作部材情報に基づき、至近側の第1端から無限遠側の第2端までのフォーカス範囲における現在のフォーカス位置を示すガイドを表示するように制御し、前記ガイドは、所定の方向に長く且つ前記所定の方向における一端の位置が前記第1端に対応し且つ前記所定の方向における他端の位置が前記第2端に対応するフォーカス範囲部分を有し、前記フォーカス範囲部分の長さは、前記操作部材に対してユーザーが行うことが可能なフォーカス操作の操作量の範囲である操作範囲に応じた長さであり、前記フォーカス範囲部分における前記第1端の位置と前記第2端の位置とは、前記操作部材に対するフォーカス操作の操作方向とフォーカス位置の変化方向との関係に応じた位置である。【選択図】図2
