Zusammenfassung:	To provide a coil device capable of preventing the occurrence of a short circuit between a lead-out portion and an outer circumferential surface of a winding portion.SOLUTION: A coil device 1 includes a winding portion 2, a lead-out portion 3a drawn out from the winding portion 2, a terminal 4a having a connection portion 42a to which the lead-out portion 3a is connected, and an element body 8 in which the winding portion 2, the lead-out portion 3a, and the connection portion 42a are embedded. The winding axis of the winding portion 2 is perpendicular to the opposing mounting surface of the element body 8.
