Zusammenfassung: | To provide a solid pulse laser device which achieves both a short resonator length and a long time pulse width, and a lidar apparatus which shows stable and high observation accuracy.SOLUTION: A master oscillator 21 of a solid pulse laser device 20 includes: a solid laser medium 1 which emits inductive emission light; a resonator 2 which forms a resonance optical path LP that sends the inductive emission light back and forth through a solid laser medium 1; a Q switch 3 which is arranged in the resonance optical path LP, and generates laser oscillation by switching from a close state with great optical loss to an open state with small optical loss; and a control unit 4 which makes the time pulse width of the laser oscillation longer in comparison to a case where the optical loss changes so as to rise in the rectangular wave shape by extending the transition time of the optical loss of the Q switch 3 in switching.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】短い共振器長と長い時間パルス幅との両立を図る固体パルスレーザー装置および安定して高い観測精度を示すライダー装置を提供する。【解決手段】固体パルスレーザー装置20の主発振器21は、誘導放出光を発する固体レーザー媒質1と、固体レーザー媒質1を通るように誘導放出光を往復させる共振光路LPを形成する共振器2と、共振光路LPに配置され、光損失の大きい閉状態から光損失の小さい開状態への切替えによってレーザー発振を生じさせるQスイッチ3と、切替えにおけるQスイッチ3の光損失の遷移時間を長くすることによって、光損失が矩形波状に立ち下がるように変化する場合よりもレーザー発振の時間パルス幅を長くする制御部4と、を有する。【選択図】図1 |
