To provide a device unit which actively drains water guided from the interior of the device into a drain hole without increasing a possibility that foreign objects enter the interior of the device.SOLUTION: A device unit 100 includes: a case 70 whose interior is divided into a waterproof area and a non-waterproof area; and a metallic component 40 mounted in the non-waterproof area of the case. The case 70 has: a drain hole 761 provided at the non-waterproof area side and having a hole shape 76a which penetrates from the inner side (a surface 72A) of the case to the outer side (a surface 72B) to drain water spilling the metallic component 40; and a cutout part 761 which is formed by cutting out a predetermined range around the hole shape 76a from a middle portion in a penetration direction to the outer side (the surface 72B) of the case in the drain hole 761.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9 【課題】機器の内部への異物混入の虞を高めずに、機器内から排水穴に導かれた水を積極的に排水させる。【解決手段】機器ユニット１００は、内部が防水領域と、非防水領域とに区分けされたケース７０と、ケースの非防水領域内に実装された金属製部品４０とを備える。ケース７０は、非防水領域側に設けられ、金属製部品４０の被水を排出するために、ケースの内側（面７２Ａ）から外側（面７２Ｂ）へ貫通する穴形状７６ａを有した排水穴７６１と、排水穴７６１において、貫通方向の途中からケースの外側（面７２Ｂ）に至るまで、穴形状７６ａの周における予め定めた範囲を切り欠いた切り欠き部７６１を有する。【選択図】図９
