Zusammenfassung:To excellently determine the presence/absence or the like of damage to a shaft connected to a differential gear mechanism.SOLUTION: A vehicle control device 100 includes: a shaft which is respectively connected to a pair of left and right drive wheels of a vehicle 1; a differential gear mechanism which distributes torque from a motor 5 to the shaft; sensors 31L, 31R which detect the wheel speed being the rotational speed of the drive wheel; a motor rotation speed sensor 53 which detects the rotation speed of the motor; and a motor control unit 10 which controls the motor. The motor control unit 10 includes: a calculation part 13 which calculates the input rotation speed input to the differential gear mechanism on the basis of the rotation speed of the motor, and calculates the output rotation speed output from the differential gear mechanism on the basis of the wheel speed; a determination part 14 which determines whether or not the duration of a state in which the difference between the input rotation speed and the output rotation speed exceeds a prescribed value exceeds the determination time; and a limit part 15 which limits the target torque of the motor to zero when it is determined that the duration exceeds the determination time.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】差動歯車機構に接続されたシャフトの破損の有無等を良好に判定する。【解決手段】車両制御装置100は、車両1の左右一対の駆動輪にそれぞれ連結されたシャフトと、モータ5からのトルクをシャフトに分配する差動歯車機構と、駆動輪の回転速度である車輪速を検出するセンサ31L,31Rと、モータの回転速度を検出するモータ回転速度センサ53と、モータを制御するモータ制御部10とを備える。モータ制御部10は、モータの回転速度に基づいて差動歯車機構に入力される入力回転速度を算出するとともに車輪速に基づいて差動歯車機構から出力される出力回転速度を算出する算出部13と、入力回転速度と出力回転速度との差が所定値を超えている状態の継続時間が判定時間を超えたか否かを判定する判定部14と、継続時間が判定時間を超えたと判定されるとモータの目標トルクをゼロに制限する制限部15とを有する。【選択図】図2
