To provide an imaging device which can respond to various different purposes including handy imaging, taking selfies or stationary imaging on its own.SOLUTION: The imaging unit includes: an imaging unit for taking an image of an object; a body part having a grip region which a user can grip in a first surface in which the imaging unit is arranged; and a stand unit provided in a first end part of the body part and arranged across the grip region from the imaging unit. The grip region faces a long side of the imaging surface of the imaging unit.
