To solve a problem that it cannot be prevented that the same bill information is registered in a duplicate way, conventionally.SOLUTION: A bill processing device 1 comprises: a bill reception unit 121 which receives bill information including a bill image; a determination unit 131 which refers to a bill storage unit 111 in which one or more pieces of registered bill information including bill images are stored, and determines whether or not a bill image which satisfies a coincidence condition exists in the bill storage unit 111 with respect to bill images received by the bill reception unit 121; a prevention unit 133 which performs prevention processing for preventing duplicated registration of the same bill, when the determination unit 131 determines that the coincidence condition is satisfied; and a registration unit 132 which accumulates the registered bill information including bill images received by the bill reception unit 121 in the bill storage unit 111, when the determination unit 131 determines that the coincidence condition is not satisfied.
