To provide a wireless communication system configured to improve the reliability and efficiency of communication.SOLUTION: A wireless communication system performs wireless communication between a mobile body and a base station, the wireless communication system comprising a mobile body server arranged in the mobile body, a plurality of mobile body communication units arranged in the mobile body, a base station server arranged in the base station, and a plurality of ground communication units arranged on the ground and configured to wirelessly communicate with the plurality of mobile body communication units. A transmitting server which is one of the mobile body server and the base station server serving as a transmitter processes an initial packet into a transmission packet with identification information added to a header.
