Zusammenfassung: | To provide a lift type vertical shaft windmill which inhibits a fluctuation range of an angle of attack of a movable blade which rotates according to a rotation speed from becoming excessive.SOLUTION: A lift type vertical shaft windmill includes: a power generation part; a rotary shaft which is integrated with the power generation part and rotates around a vertical axis; a plurality of windmill blades connected to the rotary shaft through arms 14 and rotate around the vertical axis; movable blades 15 each of which may rotate around an axis connecting the rotary shaft with the windmill blade; and excessive rotation inhibition guide bodies each of which causes the movable blade 15 to be inclined around the axis by action of a centrifugal force set according to a rotation speed of the rotary shaft. The lift type vertical shaft windmill includes: support shafts 30 each of which is integrated with the arm 14 and provided so as to be rotatable relative to the movable blade 15; and a damper mechanism 41 which generates reaction torque which counteracts a moment for causing the support shaft 30 and the movable blade 15 to rotate relative to each other.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
