To provide a kettle capable of reducing risks that hot water is discharged from the kettle to cause a user to be burnt when the kettle falls or drops.SOLUTION: A kettle defines an internal space (6) and includes: a container (4) including an outer casing (8) having common upper edges (8A, 10A) and an inner pot (10); a grip handle (12); a spout (14); and a lid (24). According to the current invention, the inner pot (10) has an inner radial direction projection. The kettle has a seal ring (30) received by the inside radial direction projection.
