To provide an information reading system configured to sort out an abnormal tag while maintaining the pace of reading information on a wireless tag to be read.SOLUTION: An information reading system 1 includes: a conveyor 2 which conveys a group 10 of books to be read, in a predetermined direction M1; an RFID reader 4 which reads information ID1-ID4 from RFID tags 6A-6D attached to each of the books 10A-10D of the book group 10 on the conveyor 2; an inspection unit 76 of a controller 7 which determines read error of the RFID tags 6 on the basis of results of reading the information ID1-ID4 from the RFID tags 6A-6D by the RFID reader 4; and a sort-out unit 13 which is provided downstream of the RFID reader 4 in a conveyance direction M1 of the conveyor 2 and sorts out the book group 10 with a wireless tag 6 in which the read error has been detected by the inspection unit 76.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 【課題】読取対象の無線タグの情報読取のペースを維持しつつ、異常発生タグを選別できる情報読取システムを提供する。【解決手段】情報読取システム１は、読取対象の物品である本群１０を所定方向Ｍ１に搬送する搬送装置２と、搬送装置２上の本群１０の各本１０Ａ～１０Ｄにそれぞれ付加されるＲＦＩＤタグ６Ａ～６Ｄから情報ＩＤ１～ＩＤ４を読み取るＲＦＩＤリーダ４と、ＲＦＩＤリーダ４によるＲＦＩＤタグ６Ａ～６Ｄからの情報ＩＤ１～ＩＤ４の読み取り結果に基づき、ＲＦＩＤタグ６の読み取りエラーを判別する制御装置７の検査部７６と、搬送装置２の搬送方向Ｍ１においてＲＦＩＤリーダ４より下流側に設けられ、検査部７６によりにより読み取りエラーを検出された無線タグ６が付加されている本群１０を選別する選別部１３と、を備える。【選択図】図３
