To provide a matching system and method that enables a user to grasp capabilities of a group to which other users belong.SOLUTION: A matching system 1 matches applicants with recruiters who are recruiting contractors for jobs, and includes user devices 500 operated by users who use the matching system as the recruiters or the applicants, and a computing device 100 that communicates with the user devices and can access a database 120. The user devices include a first user device 300 operated by a user belonging to a first group, and a second user device 200 operated by a user belonging to a second group. The database registers human resource capability information for the first group, and the human resource capability information for the first group is calculated based on the capabilities of each of a plurality of users belonging to the first group with respect to the jobs.
