A distortion correction value generation unit 33 generates a distortion correction value for correcting distortion correction objective samples, which are samples not corrected with the peripheral sample correction value, in an ascent sample section between a minimum sample located before a maximum sample and the maximum sample and a descent sample section between a maximum sample located after a maximum sample and a minimum sample.
