Zusammenfassung: | To provide a dual interface IC card configured to enable good electromagnetic coupling between a first coupling coil on an IC-module side and a second coupling coil on a card-substrate side and suppress breaking of the second coupling coil with respect to an arrangement of the second coupling coil or variability of a position of a recess.SOLUTION: An IC card 1 includes: an IC module 7 having a substrate, an external connection terminal 71, an IC chip and a first coupling coil 110; a card substrate 2; a second coupling coil 120 arranged so as to be spaced from and face the first coupling coil 110; and an external communication antenna 80. The IC module is arranged in a recess so as to expose the external connection terminal 71. The recess is composed of: a first recess for mounting the substrate; and a second recess smaller than the first recess and storing the IC chip 7. The IC card further includes capacitance units 121 arranged so as to be spaced from each other in a thickness direction and face each other, which are arranged inside the innermost circumference of the second coupling coil. 【課題】ICモジュール側の第1結合コイルとカード基体側の第2結合コイルとが良好に電磁結合し、第2結合コイルの配置や凹部位置の変動に対し第2結合コイルの断線を抑制するデュアルインターフェースICカードを提供する。【解決手段】ICカード1は、基板、外部接続端子71、ICチップ及び第1結合コイル110を有するICモジュール7と、カード基体2と、第1結合コイル110と離間、かつ、対向配置される第2結合コイル120及び外部通信アンテナ80と、を備える。ICモジュールは、外部接続端子71が露出するように凹部に配置される。凹部は、基板搭載用の第1凹部と、ICチップ7収納用の、第1凹部よりも小さい第2凹部と、から構成される。ICカードはさらに、第2結合コイルの最内周よりも内側に、厚さ方向に離間、かつ、対向配置される容量部121を備え、第2結合コイル、容量部及び外部通信アンテナが閉回路を形成する。【選択図】図1 |
