WATER QUALITY SENSOR AND CLEANING METHOD THEREOF

To provide a water quality sensor with a function to periodically clean a sensor part.SOLUTION: According to an embodiment, a water quality sensor comprises a sensor part, a cleaning calibration system, an optical system, and a determination part. The sensor part is used to hold treated water containing an observation object. The cleaning calibration system supplies cleaning liquid to the sensor part for cleaning the sensor part, and after the sensor part is cleaned by the cleaning liquid, the calibration liquid used to determine whether the cleaning is sufficient is supplied to the sensor part. The optical system images the calibration liquid in the sensor part.
