Zusammenfassung:To provide a honeycomb filter capable of improving exhaust gas purification performance while suppressing an increase in pressure loss.SOLUTION: A honeycomb filter 100 includes: a columnar honeycomb structure 4 having porous partition walls 1 arranged so as to surround a plurality of cells 2 serving as fluid flow paths extending from a first end face 11 to a second end face 12; a plugging portion 5 is disposed at an opening on the first end face 11 side or the second end face 12 side of each cell 2; and a catalyst 14 for purifying exhaust gas is supported on the partition walls 1 of the honeycomb structure 4. The partition walls 1 have, in a state where the catalyst 14 is not supported thereon, a pore volume of pores having a pore diameter of 10 μm or less of 0.07 to 0.30 cc/g, an average pore diameter of 11 to 23 μm, and a porosity of 56 to 65%.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】圧力損失の上昇を抑えつつ、排ガス浄化性能を向上させることが可能なハニカムフィルタを提供する。【解決手段】第一端面11から第二端面12まで延びる流体の流路となる複数のセル2を取り囲むように配置された多孔質の隔壁1を有する柱状のハニカム構造体4と、それぞれのセル2の第一端面11側又は第二端面12側の開口部に配設された目封止部5と、ハニカム構造体4の隔壁1に担持された排ガス浄化用の触媒14と、を備え、隔壁1は、触媒14が担持されていない状態において、細孔径が10μm以下の細孔の細孔容積が0.07~0.30cc/gであり、平均細孔径が11~23μmであり、且つ、気孔率が56~65%である。【選択図】図1
