Zusammenfassung:To provide a cell culture substrate that enables efficient spheroid formation for cells and can form spheroids of uniform size and desired shape with high cell viability, a method for producing the cell culture substrate, and a method of producing spheroids using the cell culture substrate, resulting in excellent cell viability inside the spheroids.SOLUTION: A cell culture substrate includes a substrate and a stimulus-responsive polymer applied over the substrate, wherein the stimulus-responsive polymer is a block copolymer having a water-insoluble block segment and a stimulus-responsive block segment, and the cell culture substrate includes the following two regions (A) and (B): (A) an island-shaped region having cell proliferation properties and stimulus responsiveness, with an area of 0.001-5 mm2; and (B) a region adjacent to the region (A), having no cell proliferation properties.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】細胞の効率的なスフェロイド形成を可能とすると共に、細胞の生存率が高く、サイズが均質かつ任意の形状のスフェロイドを形成可能な細胞培養基材、及び該細胞培養基材の製造方法、該細胞培養基材を用いたスフェロイド内部の細胞生存率に優れるスフェロイド製造方法を提供する。【解決手段】基材と、前記基材上に被覆された刺激応答性高分子とを有する細胞培養基材であって、前記刺激応答性高分子は水不溶性ブロックセグメント及び刺激応答性ブロックセグメントを有するブロック共重合体であり、前記細胞培養基材は下記(A)及び(B)の2つの領域を有することを特徴とする細胞培養基材。(A)細胞増殖性及び刺激応答性を有し、面積0.001~5mm2の島状の領域。(B)前記(A)領域に隣接し、細胞増殖性を有しない領域。【選択図】図1
