ELECTRONIC PEN AND HANDWRITING INPUT DEVICE

To provide a handwriting input device which has a simple configuration of an electronic pen and can be formed at low cost.SOLUTION: A handwriting input device includes, at a lower part of a magnetic sheet in which color of a position with a magnetic pole being adjacent or in contact therewith changes, a position detection device part with an electromagnetic induction type position detection sensor arranged, and an electronic pen. The electronic pen includes, at a pen tip side of a housing, a first coil, a first magnetic core with the first coil wound around to include a through hole in an axial direction, a first capacitor constituting a resonance circuit with the first coil, and a first core body inserting through the through hole of the first magnetic core. Also, the electronic pen includes, on an opposite side of the pen tip side of the housing, an eraser function part composed of a second coil, a second magnetic core, a second capacitor, and a second core body. The first and second core bodies each have magnetic poles at the tip and an opposite side of the tip. The tips of the first and second core bodies project outward from an opening of the housing together with a part of the first magnetic core and a part of the second magnetic core.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】電子ペンの構成が簡単で、低コストで構成できる手書き入力装置を提供する。【解決手段】磁極が近接あるいは接触した位置の色が変化する磁性シートの下方に、電磁誘導方式の位置検出センサが配設された位置検出装置部と、電子ペンとを備える手書き入力装置である。電子ペンは、筐体のペン先側に、第１のコイルと、この第１のコイルが巻回され、軸心方向の貫通孔を備える第１の磁性体コアと、第１のコイルと共振回路を構成する第１のコンデンサと、第１の磁性体コアの貫通孔を挿通される第１の芯体とを備える。電子ペンは、また、筐体のペン先側とは反対側に、第２のコイル、第２の磁性体コア、第２のコンデンサ、第２の芯体で構成される消しゴム機能部を備える。第１及び第２の芯体は、先端部と、先端部とは反対側とに磁極を有する。第１及び第２の芯体の先端部は、第１及び第２の磁性体コアの一部と共に、筐体の開口から外部に突出する。【選択図】図１
