Zusammenfassung:To provide a charging system and a charging method in which the convenience of charging an electric automobile can be improved.SOLUTION: A charging system for charging an electric automobile includes: a charging unit which includes a first charging section that supplies power to a power storage section in the electric automobile; and a guide member which is disposed in a right-left direction parallel with a line connecting the left side and the right side of the electric automobile when the electric automobile is parked in a parking space having a rectangular shape in plan view, on which the charging unit is mounted, which surrounds a part of a bus bar that receives current supply from an external power source, and guides movement of the charging unit. The charging unit mounted on the guide member is movable in the right-left direction. When the first charging section included in the charging unit is connected to any one of second charging sections connected with the bus bar, the electric automobile connected with the first charging section is charged.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】電気自動車の充電の利便性を向上できる充電システムおよび充電方法を提供すること。【解決手段】電気自動車を充電する充電システムは、電気自動車の蓄電部に電力を供給する第1充電部を備える充電ユニットと、平面視略矩形の駐車スペースに電気自動車が駐車した場合に、電気自動車の左側と右側とを結んだ線に平行となる左右方向に配設され、充電ユニットが取り付けられ、外部電源から電流が供給されるバスバーの一部を囲み、充電ユニットの移動をガイドするガイド部材とを備え、ガイド部材に取り付けられた充電ユニットは、左右方向に移動可能であり、充電ユニットが備える第1充電部がバスバーと接続される複数の第2充電部のいずれかと接続することで、第1充電部に接続されている電気自動車が充電される。【選択図】図2
