The controller has: a control unit that controls the turbine so that a boost pressure of the supercharger in the intake passage is equal to or lower than an allowable value; a first calculation unit that calculates an amount of decrease in compressor efficiency of the compressor; and a second calculation unit that calculates the allowable value from an intake volume of the intake passage in accordance with the amount of decrease.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
