To provide an optical filter, even in a high incidence angle, having little variations in transmissivity in a visible light region, and having excellent transparency in the visible light region and shielding properties in a near infrared light region.SOLUTION: An optical filter according to the present invention comprises a base material and a dielectric multilayer film stacked as an outermost layer on at least one main surface side of the base material. The base material has a near infrared ray absorption glass and a resin film. The resin film is 10 μm or less in thickness, and includes a resin and a dye (NIR1).
