To provide an oil-based or emulsified sunscreen cosmetic having high ultraviolet protection effect and excellent sense of use.SOLUTION: There is provided an oil-based or emulsified sunscreen cosmetic which comprises (A) 0.5 to 15 mass% of a hydrophobically treated powder, in which a hydrophobic treatment agent is one or more selected from an N-acylamino acid or its salt, a fatty acid or its salt and an organic modified amine or its salt, (B) 1 to 40 mass% of an ultraviolet scattering agent and/or an ultraviolet absorbing agent and (C) 1 to 5 mass% of a nonionic surfactant, and comprises no synthetic resin powder having a particle diameter of 5 mm or less.SELECTED DRAWING: None 【課題】高い紫外線防御効果と優れた使用感を備える油性または乳化日焼け止め化粧料。【解決手段】 （Ａ）０．５～１５質量％の疎水化処理された粉体であって、疎水化処理剤がＮ-アシルアミノ酸もしくはその塩、脂肪酸もしくはその塩、及び有機変性アミンもしくはその塩から選択される１種以上である、粉体と、（Ｂ）１～４０質量％の紫外線散乱剤及び／または紫外線吸収剤と、（Ｃ）１～５質量％のノニオン界面活性剤とを含み、粒子径が５ｍｍ以下の合成樹脂粉末を含まない、油性または乳化日焼け止め化粧料。【選択図】 なし
