Zusammenfassung:To provide a display device configured to improve moisture permeation characteristics without using a plastic substrate.SOLUTION: A display device includes: a first substrate including an active area having a plurality of sub pixels and a non-active area enclosing the active area, the first substrate comprising one of a transparent conductive oxide or an oxide semiconductor; an inorganic layer provided on the first substrate; a planarization layer provided on the inorganic layer; a second substrate provided on the planarization layer, the second substrate having an end located inside the first substrate; a seal member covering a portion of a top of the second substrate; an adhesive layer provided on the second substrate, the adhesive layer being spaced apart from the seal member; and a back cover bonded to the second substrate through the adhesive layer.
