To provide a technique for stabilizing conveyance of a continuous sheet.SOLUTION: In a recording device 1 for performing recording on a conveyed continuous sheet, control is started so that a speed of a second conveying roller 9 for conveying the continuous sheet on a downstream side of a recording part 6 on a conveying path becomes a first speed in a state where a first conveying roller 3 for conveying the continuous sheet on an upstream side of the recording part 6 on the conveying path of the continuous sheet is stopped at start of conveying the continuous sheet, and the control is changed so that the speed of the second conveying roller 9 becomes a second speed faster than the first speed, and further control of the first conveying roller 3 is started so that a speed of the first conveying roller 3 becomes a third speed which is faster than the first speed and is slower than the second speed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】連続シートの搬送を安定化させる技術を提供すること。【解決手段】搬送される連続シートに記録を行う記録装置１において、連続シートの搬送を開始する際に、連続シートの搬送経路における記録部６の上流側で連続シートを搬送する第１の搬送ローラ３を停止させた状態で、搬送経路における記録部６の下流側で連続シートを搬送する第２の搬送ローラ９の速度が第１の速度となるように制御を開始し、第２の搬送ローラ９の速度が第１の速度よりも早い第２の速度となるように制御を変えるとともに、第１の搬送ローラ３の速度が第１の速度よりも早く第２の速度よりも遅い第３の速度となるように第１の搬送ローラ３の制御を開始することを特徴とする。【選択図】図１
