Zusammenfassung: | To create a camera for optically detecting an object, especially an electronic assembly component.SOLUTION: The invention relates to a camera for detecting an object, the camera comprising (a) an irradiation device for irradiating the object located in an object plane of the camera, and (b) a camera sensor for capturing an image of the object irradiated by the irradiation device. The irradiation device includes: (a1) a first illumination mechanism having a plurality of first light sources for irradiating the object with a first irradiation light at a first irradiation angle; (a2) a second irradiation mechanism having a plurality of second irradiation light sources for irradiating the object with second irradiation light at a second irradiation angle different from the first irradiation angle; and (a3) an optical-lens array having a plurality of independent lenses for collimating the first irradiation light and the second irradiation light.
