OPTICAL LAMINATE AND IMAGE DISPLAY DEVICE

To provide an optical laminate which comprises a polarizer, a retardation layer, and a protective film, and which reduces warping of a sheet body thereof and offers good bending resistance, and to provide an image display device including the optical laminate.SOLUTION: An optical laminate is provided, comprising a polarizer, a retarder, and a protective film arranged in the described order and being configured to satisfy an expression (i): E×T2≤8000 and an expression (ii): T2≤7, where E [MPa] represents a tensile modulus of the protective film at temperature 85°C, and T2 [μm] represents a thickness of the protective film.
