Zusammenfassung: | To provide a producing method that suppresses adhesion of a slurry to a flange part when a substrate having the flange part is used, and suppressing generation of uncoated portion in a honeycomb structure.SOLUTION: A producing method for an exhaust gas purification catalyst disclosed herein includes steps of: preparing a substrate 10 having an outer cylinder 11 having a flange part 13 and a honeycomb structure 12; holding the substrate 10 so that a cylindrical axis of the substrate 10 is substantially consistent with a vertical direction; inserting a cylindrical partition member 110 having an outer diameter smaller than an inner diameter of the outer cylinder 11 from an upper end of the outer cylinder 11 to dispose the partition member such that an edge surface on the upper side of the honeycomb structure 12 and a lower end of the partition member 110 face each other; supplying the slurry to the partition member 110; and sucking the slurry from a lower end of the outer cylinder. In the disposing step, the partition member 110 and the substrate 10 are disposed to have a predetermined clearance, and the slurry supplied in the supply step is adjusted to a predetermined viscosity.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
【課題】ツバ部を有する基材を用いた際に、当該ツバ部へのスラリーの付着を抑制し、ハニカム構造体において未コート部が発生することを抑制する製造方法を提供すること。【解決手段】ここに開示される排ガス浄化用触媒の製造方法は、ツバ部13を有する外筒11とハニカム構造体12とを備える基材10を用意する工程と、基材10の筒軸が垂直方向と略一致するように基材10を保持する工程と、外筒11の内径よりも小さい外径の円筒形状の仕切り部材110を外筒11の上端から挿入し、ハニカム構造体12の上方側の端面と仕切り部材110の下端とが対向するように配置する工程と、仕切り部材110にスラリーを供給する工程と、スラリーを外筒の下端から吸引する工程と、を含む。配置工程では、仕切り部材110と基材10とが所定のクリアランスとなるように配置され、供給工程で供給されるスラリーは所定の粘度に調整される。【選択図】図3 |
