To provide a valve capable of preventing accidental opening and closing of a valve by providing a play state during manual operation, and capable of smoothly transitioning from the play state to a rotation state.SOLUTION: In a valve 1, a tip of the other end part of a stem 6 and an engagement hole part 42 of an operating handle form corresponding circumferential surfaces and flat surfaces connected to the circumferential surfaces, and either one of the flat surfaces of the tip of the other end part of the stem 6 or the engagement hole part 42 of the operating handle is composed of two flat surfaces with a predetermined angle, so that a predetermined amount of play is created when the operating handle 4 is rotated in one direction and then in the other direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 【課題】手動による操作時に遊び状態を設けることで不慮の弁開閉を抑制するとともに、遊び状態から回動状態にスムーズに移行することができるバルブを提供すること。【解決手段】ステム６の他端部先端と操作用ハンドルの係合穴部４２とは、対応する円周面部と該円周面部に連なる平面部とを形成し、ステム６の他端部先端及び操作用ハンドルの係合穴部４２の平面部のいずれか一方は、所定角度をもった二平面から構成することで、操作用ハンドル４の一方向への回動後に他方向に回動させる際、所定の遊びが生じるようにしたバルブ１。【選択図】図５
