Zusammenfassung:	To prevent or reduce an increase in temperature caused by damage to a heating unit in which carbon material is uniformly disposed.SOLUTION: A planar heater 22 has a planar heating unit 24, and a pair of electrodes 30 connected to both ends of the heating unit 24, and application of voltage between the pair of electrodes 30 causes the heating unit 24 to generate heat. The heating unit 24 is formed of a plurality of strip-like strip parts 26 that are bridged between the pair of electrodes 30 not in contact with each other, and in each of which carbon nano-tube is dispersed to be spread out.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】炭素素材が満遍なく配設された発熱部の破損による温度上昇を防止又は抑制する。【解決手段】面状ヒータ２２は、面状の発熱部２４と、発熱部２４の両端部に接続された一対の電極３０とを有し、一対の電極３０間に電圧が印加されることで発熱部２４が発熱する。発熱部２４は、各々にカーボンナノチューブが張り巡らされるように分散され、各々が互いに非接触状態で一対の電極３０間に架け渡された複数の短冊状の短冊部２６によって構成されている。【選択図】図２
