To provide a disaster prevention device capable of quickly detecting smoke that has entered a housing.SOLUTION: A disaster prevention device 100 comprises: a detection unit 11; a battery 2; a housing 3; an opening 4; and an inflow path X1. The detection part 11 detects smoke. The battery 2 supplies electric power to the detection unit 11. The housing 3 includes a first wall 311 and a second wall 321, and houses the detection unit 11 and the battery 2 between the first wall 311 and the second wall 321. The opening 4 is provided in the housing 3 such that smoke can enter the opening 4 from outside. An inflow path X1a connects the opening 4 to the detection unit 11 inside the housing 3.
