To provide a surgical irrigation cassette.SOLUTION: A surgical irrigation cassette 24 comprises a cassette housing, a portion of a pump 28, and fluid pathways. The housing defines a chamber and a first console connector 38 including a first pneumatic connector port. A portion of the pump includes an intake side of the pump and an output side of the pump. The fluid pathways are disposed at least in part within the chamber. A first fluid pathway 27, in an installed position, connects the intake side of the pump with a supply fluid container. A second fluid pathway 32, in an installed position, interconnects the output side of the pump and a handpiece. A third fluid pathway 33, in an installed position, interconnects a handpiece 30 and a waste container 31.
