Zusammenfassung:To properly screen a defective where the number of beans contained in a pod is not enough.SOLUTION: A bean classifier includes a swinging selection device 15 which selects objects h to be screened into a non-defective or a defective while swinging and transferring beans as the objects h to be screened along a transfer path. The swinging selection device 15 includes: a plurality of support mediums 30 which are arrayed at intervals along a lateral width direction and extend from a starting end part of a screening path to the transfer path; and a frame body 18 which supports the plurality of support mediums 30. The support mediums 30 includes: a first support medium 31 which is supported by the frame body 18 in a state where a relative position is fixed; and a second support medium 32 whose vertical position is changeable relative to the first support medium 31. The first support medium and the second support medium are alternatively arrayed in the lateral width direction.
