Zusammenfassung:To provide an aluminum alloy forged product with superior mechanical properties at room temperature and a method for producing the same.SOLUTION: An aluminum alloy forged product has an alloy composition that comprises Cu of 0.30-1.0 mass%, Mg of 0.80-1.8 mass%, Si of 0.90-1.9 mass%, Mn of 0.30-1.25 mass%, Fe of 0.31-1.0 mass%, Zn of 0.26-1.0 mass%, Cr of 0.050-0.30 mass%, Ti of 0.012-0.035 mass%, B of 0.0010-0.030 mass%, and Zr of 0.0010-0.050 mass%, where the ratio of Fe content to Mn content, Fe/Mn, is less than 1.2 in mass ratio, with the balance being Al and unavoidable impurities.
