WAVE SUPPRESSION SYSTEM

To improve wave suppression effect regardless of tides or changes in wave size by adjusting wave suppression effect according to sizes of the waves and water level in a system for suppressing waves reaching a floating body such as a ship from an offshore side.SOLUTION: A wave suppression system comprises: an attenuation plate 10 installed underwater at an offshore side of a floating tideland A floating on the water surface, having a flat upper surface at the water surface side, and reducing sizes of waves reaching the floating tideland A from the offshore side; a wave height detection device 30 detecting wave heights on the water surface at a predetermined position at the offshore side of the attenuation plate 10; and a water depth adjustment device 20 adjusting a water depth of the upper surface of the attenuation plate 10 to be equal to or lower than a detected wave height when the wave height detected by the wave height detection device 30 is equal to or higher than a set value. The water depth adjustment device 20 comprises water depth calculation means calculating a water depth of the upper surface of the attenuation plate 10 based on a water level at the installation position of the attenuation plate 10.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】船舶のような浮体に沖側から到達する波を抑制するシステムにおいて、波浪抑制作用を、波の大きさ及び水位に応じて調整することにある。それにより、潮の干満や波の大きさの変化に係わらず、波浪抑制効果を高める。【解決手段】水面上に浮く浮体干潟Ａより沖側の水中に設置されて、水面側の上面が平面とされ、浮体干潟Ａに沖側から到達する波の大きさを小さくする減衰板１０と、減衰板１０より沖側の所定位置における水面上の波高を検出する波高検出装置３０と、波高検出装置３０により検出される検出波高が設定値以上のとき、減衰板１０の上面の水深を検出波高以下に調整する水深調整装置２０と、を備え、水深調整装置２０は、減衰板１０の設置位置における水位に基づいて減衰板１０の上面の水深を求める水深算出手段を備える。【選択図】図１
