Zusammenfassung:To provide a low-cost pi(π)-shaped preform, e.g. in the field of composite aircraft structures.SOLUTION: There is provided a pi(π)-shaped preform (10) comprising a base component (12) and a pair of axially elongated legs (14, 16). The pair of axially elongated legs (14, 16) are coupled to the base component to define a channel between these pairs of axially elongated legs (14, 16).
