Zusammenfassung: | To provide a device and a method for evaluating a magnetic bearing.SOLUTION: A magnetic bearing has a plurality of magnetic elements in order to rotatably pivot a rotor by a stator. A device comprises a measurement device and an evaluation device. The measurement device detects a measurement value of the magnetic field intensity in one of a plurality of prescribed positions in the plurality of magnetic elements. The evaluation device is connected to the measurement device so as to be communicative therewith in order to receive the measurement value of the magnetic field intensity which is detected by the measurement device, and also, in order to determine magnetization characteristics with respect to each of the magnetic elements on the basis of the measurement value of the magnetic field intensity. Furthermore, the evaluation device receives geometric shape data of the magnetic bearing, and determines at least one resultant force which is exerted to the rotor by the magnetic elements on the basis of geometric data and the magnetization characteristics of the magnetic elements.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
