Zusammenfassung:To provide a rotary electric machine unit and a rotary electric machine unit producing method in which upsizing of a power conversion device can be suppressed.SOLUTION: A rotary electric machine unit includes a rotary electric machine and a power conversion device. A stator of the rotary electric machine includes a stator core in which a plurality of slots are formed, and a plurality of coils that are wound around the stator core and are electrically connected respectively to a plurality of power modules of the power conversion device. The coils respectively include a plurality of short coil segments and a plurality of long coil segments that are inserted in the plurality of slots. The plurality of short coil segments have first insertion portions that are inserted in the plurality of slots, and first protruding portions protruding to the outside of the stator core. The plurality of long coil segments have second insertion portions that are inserted in the plurality of slots, and second protruding portions protruding to the outside of the stator core.
