When controlling the electric motor, the controller acquires at least one of a first elapsed time from when energization is started to when a change gradient of a current value of the electric motor with respect to time becomes a first threshold value or less during the braking release control, and a second elapsed time from when energization is started to when the change gradient of the current value of the electric motor with respect to time becomes a second threshold value or more during the braking control.
