Zusammenfassung:To solve the problem in which there exist techniques to blend fibrillated short fibers into rubber compositions for enhanced hardness and fuel efficiency; but the traditional techniques fail to attain desired properties due to inadequate dispersion and fibrillation of the short fibers.SOLUTION: A rubber composition comprises diene rubber comprising natural rubber and butadiene rubber. Relative to 100 pts.mass of the diene rubber, it further comprises 10-100 pts.mass of a reinforcement agent comprising carbon black and 0.5-5 pts.mass of polyvinyl alcohol short fibers comprising polyalkylene oxide.SELECTED DRAWING: None 【課題】フィブリル化した短繊維をゴム組成物に配合し、硬度や低燃費性能の向上を図る技術が知られているが、従来技術では、短繊維の分散性やフィブリル性が悪く、所望の物性が得られないという問題点があった。【解決手段】天然ゴムおよびブタジエンゴムを含むジエン系ゴム100質量部に対し、カーボンブラックを含む補強剤を10~100質量部、およびポリアルキレンオキシドを含むポリビニルアルコール短繊維を0.5~5質量部配合してなるゴム組成物によって上記課題を解決した。【選択図】なし
