Zusammenfassung:To provide an inkjet recording method that is capable of recording an image featuring superior scratch resistance and glossiness with reduced density unevenness.SOLUTION: An inkjet recording method involves applying aqueous ink to a recording medium in a one-pass approach to record an image on the recording medium. The method includes the steps for: applying an aqueous reaction liquid containing a reaction agent, which reacts with ink, to a recording medium; and subsequently applying ink so as to overlap at least a part of the region with the reaction liquid applied thereto. The ink includes at least two types, first ink and second ink, in the order of application to the recording medium, with its aqueous medium having a relative dielectric constant of less than 70.0. The reaction agent includes a polyvalent metal salt and/or a cationic resin, with its aqueous medium having a relative dielectric constant of 73.0 or more. The first ink includes a surfactant with a hydrocarbon chain of 9 or more carbon atoms and a carboxylate or ethylene oxide structure at the end of its molecular structure. The ink and the reaction liquid are free of a water-soluble organic solvent with a boiling point of higher than 250°C.SELECTED DRAWING: None 【課題】耐擦過性及び光沢性に優れ、濃度ムラが抑制された画像を記録可能なインクジェット記録方法を提供する。【解決手段】記録媒体への水性インクの付与を1パス方式で行って記録媒体に画像を記録するインクジェット記録方法である。記録媒体に、インクと反応する反応剤を含有する水性の反応液を付与する工程と、その工程後、反応液が付与された領域の少なくとも一部に重なるようにインクを付与する工程とを含む。インクは、記録媒体への付与順に第1インク及び第2インクの少なくとも2種を含み、水性媒体の比誘電率が70.0未満である。反応剤は、多価金属塩及び/又はカチオン性樹脂を含み、水性媒体の比誘電率が73.0以上である。第1インクが、炭素数が9以上の炭化水素鎖、及び、その分子構造の末端にカルボン酸塩又はエチレンオキサイドの構造を有する界面活性剤を含有する。インク及び反応液は、沸点が250℃超の水溶性有機溶剤を含有しない。【選択図】なし
