To provide a roller bearing for achieving lubricity in pockets and the strength of a cage.SOLUTION: A cage 17 is formed with a plurality of resin segments 20 arranged side by side in a bearing peripheral direction. The segment 20 integrally includes a first arc-shaped part 21 extending in the bearing peripheral direction, a second arc-shaped part 22 separated from the first arc-shaped part in a roller axial direction and extending in the bearing peripheral direction, and a plurality of pillar parts 23 laid between the first arc-shaped part 21 and the second arc-shaped part 22. On the outer diameter side of the pillar parts 23 forming pockets 16, claw portions 24 are provided for contacting rollers to restrict the movement of the rollers to the outer diameter side. Out of the plurality of pillar parts 23 of the segment 20, two pillar parts located at both peripheral ends are first pillar parts 231 and the pillar parts located between the two first pillar parts are second pillar parts 232, and recessed portions 40 are provided in the inner diameter faces of the second pillar parts 232, respectively.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】ポケットでの潤滑性と保持器の強度とを両立したころ軸受を提供する。【解決手段】 保持器１７は、複数の樹脂製のセグメント２０を軸受周方向に並べることで形成される。セグメント２０は、軸受周方向に延びる第一弧状部２１と、第一弧状部からころ軸方向に離間すると共に、軸受周方向に延びる第二弧状部２２と、第一弧状部２１と第二弧状部２２の間に介在する複数の柱部２３とを一体に備える。ポケット１６を形成する柱部２３の外径側に、ころと接触して当該ころの外径側への移動を規制する爪部２４が設けられる。セグメント２０の複数の柱部２３のうち、周方向両端に位置する２つの柱部を第一柱部２３1とし、２つの第一柱部の間に位置する柱部を第二柱部２３2として、第二柱部２３2の内径面に凹部４０を設ける。【選択図】図２
