To provide a sheet binding device mounted with a needleless binding mechanism and a needle binding mechanism, which is configured so that when the needleless binding mechanism is arranged closer to a front side of the device than the needle binding mechanism, needles can be replenished into the needle binding mechanism, with a compact structure.SOLUTION: A needleless binding unit 27 is arranged closer to a front side of a device than a staple unit 17. When needles are replenished into the staple unit 17, the staple unit 17 is moved to a needle replenishing position.
