Zusammenfassung:	To provide a method for producing cellulose particles which have high spheroidicity and, further, excellent particle strength.SOLUTION: A method for producing cellulose particles comprises the following steps (1) and (2) in this order. Step (1): a step of mixing a water-in-oil type emulsion, comprising an aqueous cellulose solution and an organic solvent, and a coagulation solvent to precipitate cellulose to obtain hydrous cellulose particles; and step (2): a step of mixing the hydrous cellulose particles obtained in step (1) with a solvent having an azeotropic point with water, followed by heating to distill water off.SELECTED DRAWING: None 【課題】球形度が高く、更に、粒子強度に優れたセルロース粒子の製造方法に関する。【解決手段】以下の工程（１）及び（２）をこの順で含む、セルロース粒子の製造方法。工程（１）：セルロース水溶液及び有機溶媒を含有する油中水型のエマルションと、凝固溶媒とを混合し、セルロースを析出させて、含水セルロース粒子を得る工程工程（２）：工程（１）で得られた含水セルロース粒子と、水との共沸点を有する溶媒とを混合し、加熱して水を留去する工程【選択図】なし
