ADMISSION CONTROL SYSTEM

To provide a solution to difficulties in determining in a short period of time whether a person was trying to gain admission to a facility or a building by being qualified to enter or by tailgating.SOLUTION: An admission control system at an entrance of a building includes: an authentication unit that determines whether or not entry to a building is allowed at the entrance of the building and authenticates the entry of a person who is determined to be allowed; a position detection unit that detects a position of the person entering the building; a number-of-persons detection unit that detects the number of persons who are detected by the position detection unit and are staying in a first authentication area located near the entrance of the building; a movement direction detection unit that detects the direction of movement of the persons staying in the first authentication area detected by the number-of-persons detection unit; and a control unit that counts the number of persons who wish to enter the building, which is the number of persons heading to the entrance detected by the movement direction detection unit, counts the number of persons who have been authenticated by the authentication unit, and controls opening and closing of the entrance based on whether the number of persons who wish to enter exceeds the number of persons who have been authenticated.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】施設や建物に入場する資格を得て入場しようとしている人なのか、それとも共連れにより入場しようとしている人なのかを短時間で判断することは困難であった。【解決手段】建物の入口における入場管理システムにおいて、建物の入口で建物への入場の可否を判定し入場可と判定された入の認証を行う認証部と、入の位置を検出する位置検出部と、位置検出部が検出した人の中で、建物の入口付近に設けられた第一の認証エリアに滞在する滞在人数を検知する人数検知部と、人数検知部が検出した第一の認証エリアに滞在する人の移動方向を検知する移動方向検知部と、移動方向検知部が検出した入口方向へ向かう人である入場希望人数をカウントし、認証部が認証した人である認証済人数をカウントし、入場希望人数が認証済人数を超えたかどうかを基に入口の開閉を制御する制御部を備える入場管理システム。【選択図】図１
